What we did
-To help with its sustainability, FRS funded a self sustaining Aquaponics project.
-This Aquaponics project spans over 2500 sq. meters and provides the residents with fresh vegetables and fish. Surplus are sold for extra income.
– The project is looked after by the students themselves. Being in the school compound, it beautifies the surroundings very well, and creates an invaluable impact on students’ involvement as well as to raise awareness on its importance amongst visitors in protecting the environment.
-This project has already progressed to be a centre for know-how transfer as a space efficient and effective agricultural method.
