Executive Team
Designing and stewarding the initiatives that define our impact, from foundation to fruition.
Each initiative is evidence-based, globally informed, and locally grounded — honoring the heritage, knowledge, and needs of the communities we serve.
Scott J. Wong brings over 25 years of experience designing and delivering educational initiatives across all age groups, with specialist expertise in digital literacy, child safeguarding, and intergenerational learning.
As Executive Director of PKRS, Scott architects the institutional frameworks that embed internationally benchmarked computer science education and safeguarding principles within established educational and community systems. His specialised international partner training with Code.org informs the pedagogical foundation of PKRS’s digital literacy framework. Working closely with local communities, educators, and ministries, Scott ensures that every programme is not only technically world-class but also deeply integrated into the national fabric.
He is the founding architect of three award-recognised initiatives: the Digital Technologies Seniors Programme (DTSP), ChildSafe Malaysia, and KIDS Bits & Bytes — reaching preschools, rural schools, senior communities, and families across Sarawak and beyond.
Committed to ensuring that geography, age, and socioeconomic background are never barriers to meaningful digital participation, Scott was invited by the Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor of Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus to co-author Chapter 9, “Responsible and Equitable Use of AI in Educational Settings,” in The Practitioner’s Guide to Technology-Enhanced Learning.
Andrea Wong serves as Director of International Relations & Operations of the digital and safeguarding frameworks delivered through PKRS, ensuring every initiative is internationally benchmarked, locally grounded, and designed for long-term sustainability.
She co-developed the flagship initiatives delivered through PKRS — including the Digital Technologies Seniors Programme (DTSP), ChildSafe Malaysia, and KIDS Bits & Bytes — working closely with local communities, educators, and families to bridge global computer science standards with Malaysian heritage and community knowledge.
Her work is rooted in evidence-based research and cross-cultural collaboration. Engaging universities and global partners, Andrea ensures each model is contextually grounded, internationally rigorous, and built to endure across generations.
Committed to building a future where opportunity is inclusive and progress is protected, Andrea ensures every initiative is delivered with integrity, warmth, and lasting impact.
