OUR IMPACT.
PKRS operates at the intersection of education, safeguarding, and digital inclusion—delivering system-level impact across generations at scale—institutionalising equitable access through standards-aligned implementation. In partnership with government ministries, universities, and international curriculum authorities, PKRS serves as the implementation and standards alignment partner, translating globally established frameworks into locally embedded systems that sustain long-term access to opportunity.
Every program the Foundation delivers is systematically benchmarked against internationally recognized Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) standards.

KIDS: BITS & BYTES — SEDIDIK.
Statewide implementation of preschool computer science with early AI introduction—embedded within the SeDidik curriculum.
As the local implementation partner for Code.org’s global framework, PKRS anchors the integration of internationally recognized computer science education within the Malaysian preschool system.
Utilizing a CSTA-mapped mastery sequence, students navigate a structured progression where advancement is gated by built-in concept checks to ensure 100% competency before moving to the next level.
Through a Train-the-Trainers implementation model, PKRS has enabled statewide curriculum integration across all SeDidik centres—establishing a scalable foundation for continuous expansion as the network grows. The programme is delivered through a standards-aligned progression framework with embedded mastery benchmarks, ensuring consistency, quality, and internationally recognised outcomes across all participating classrooms.
“This is the crucial age when they begin to shape their thinking, making it essential for their development. We are the first state in the world to implement this in pre-school.”

Raspberry Pi 2025 Deployment · MEITD & Sarawak Skills · 18 Districts.
The Raspberry Pi 2025 Deployment, led by the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development (MEITD) Sarawak in collaboration with Sarawak Skills, established structured STEM learning access for 6,000 students across more than 160 rural schools in 18 districts.
Delivered as a coordinated statewide initiative, PKRS ensured post-deployment learning continuity across participating schools—transforming infrastructure access into sustained, curriculum-aligned learning outcomes.
These outcomes are anchored by structured, standards-based instructional pathways aligned with the FRS Standard for global technical rigor.
Aligned with Sarawak’s 2030 digital and STEM development goals, the initiative was extended through Swinburne University Sarawak, where PKRS supported educator development aligned with structured, standards-based instructional pathways. This approach established consistent delivery benchmarks while strengthening local educator capacity to sustain high-quality digital learning beyond initial deployment.
“You too can excel in coding and STEM regardless of your location.”

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES SENIORS PROGRAMME.
COMMUNITY & UNIVERSITY PARTNERSHIP · LIFELONG LEARNING.
The Digital Technologies Seniors Programme (DTSP), established in collaboration with Swinburne University Sarawak, is a digital inclusion initiative designed to extend essential digital competencies to ageing populations through an intergenerational learning model.
Through the Cyber Ambassadors model, university students deliver digital competency development while engaging in meaningful intergenerational exchange with senior participants.
The programme places strong emphasis on online safety and risk awareness, equipping seniors to recognise and respond to digital threats such as scams and misinformation, while navigating digital platforms with confidence.
Building on this foundation, PKRS maintains a continuous support structure for all participants, anchored by programme facilitators and research partners. This ensures that learning extends beyond initial training, with seniors remaining connected to a support network as they apply digital tools in their daily lives.
Through this approach, digital inclusion extends beyond access to protection, participation, and independence—supporting sustained digital confidence and active engagement in an increasingly digital society, while preserving continuity across generations.
The programme is aligned with the KPWK mandate of sustaining community wellbeing and ensuring a dignified existence for all, contributing to a lasting community legacy across generations.
